Excited to share that I had the incredible opportunity to shoot a pilot for a TV show that is now on MAX and Discovery+ as one of the design experts. Room to Inspire is a 30-minute show that explores how five homeowners transform a single room in their houses. A carport becomes a tropical bar. A handmade tile wall anchors a living room. A historic home gets a handcrafted kitchen. A great room supports family gatherings. A garage becomes a home office.
I hope you check it out if you have either HBO max or Discovery+. Being apart of this major production was a new experience for me. I spent a day at a studio, had hair and makeup consultants and a mini office to continue to be productive between the recordings of the various talents. The team selected these really incredible projects and was honored to participate along side, Cliff Fong - Interior Designer, Emily Eerdmans - Design Historian and Alice Kimm - Architect.

We are reaching out with the disappointing news that Room to Inspire has not been picked up to series. Despite it being an internal favorite with network executives, the pilot didn’t attract as many viewers as they had hoped. This fact - coupled with the network's shifting priorities for 2024 - has led them to this difficult decision.
While we are disappointed the project isn’t moving forward, we are proud of the project we made and loved getting the opportunity to work with you.
